Welcome to Paint for Paws-a youth-led initiative dedicated to making a real difference for animals in Wake County, North Carolina. Founded by two passionate ninth graders, our organization was born from a shared love of animals and a belief in the transformative power of art and community action.

Our Mission

At Paint for Paws, our mission is simple:

To support and uplift local animal shelters by harnessing the power of creativity, compassion, and community.We strive to raise both funds and awareness so that every animal in Wake County can receive the care, shelter, and love they deserve.

What we do.

We organize a variety of creative events designed to bring people together and shine a light on the needs of our local animal shelters. Some of our signature activities include:

Painting Sessions: Fun, guided painting events where participants create animal-themed artwork. No experience needed-just a willingness to help!

Art Contests: Friendly competitions that encourage artists of all ages to showcase their talents while supporting a great cause.

Collaborative Tournaments: Group art projects and team challenges that foster teamwork and community spirit.

Awareness Campaigns: Using art to tell the stories of shelter animals, highlight adoption opportunities, and educate the public on the importance of animal welfare.

As two teenagers, we know that age is no barrier to making a difference. We started Paint for Paws because we wanted to combine our love for animals and our passion for art to create something meaningful for our community.
